Resilience: A Nonprofit Attribute

Resilience as an attribute of nonprofit organizations and the people who lead and manage one – makes sense! I am intrigued, by the recommended use of “resilience” to engage nonprofit organizations in responding and recovering, from the impact of COVID-19. Likewise, it is interesting how groups, celebrities, professional athletes, etc. align with the concept of resilience as they start a nonprofit or partner with nonprofits to address the unrest relative to race  relations. Again, resilience for nonprofits makes sense, because the executive directors who lead these organizations are routinely presented with leading and managing through unpredictable and challenging situations. Consider, capacity building beyond resilience through difficult circumstances, to include: ReSponse, ReLief, ReCover, ReImagine, ReBuild, and ReForm
